Honda Australia has raised its capped-price servicing costs by 40 per cent for every new petrol and hybrid model, but the Super-One electric hatch keeps its $199-per-service rate and remains the brand's cheapest vehicle to maintain.
The increase applies to vehicles purchased on or after October 1, 2026, and lifts the price of each scheduled service across the Civic, Accord, Prelude, HR-V, ZR-V and CR-V from $199 to $279, a rise of $80 per visit.
What the new prices mean at the counter
The first five services on any of those petrol and hybrid models now total $1395, up from $995. Services fall due every 12 months or 15,000km.
The Super-One's program is unchanged: $199 for each of its first five scheduled services, or $995 in total, a rate carried over from when Australian order books opened in August 2026. That makes it one of the cheapest electric hatchbacks in the country to service, and it now undercuts everything else in Honda's own range by $400 over five years.
Honda last touched these prices in 2022, when they rose almost 60 per cent from $125 to $199 per service. Two increases in four years still leaves the program's headline structure intact, but the gap between the old $995 five-service total and the new $1395 is real money for anyone budgeting ownership costs on a CR-V, the brand's most popular model here.

How it stacks against rival EV servicing
The Super-One's $995 five-year total also beats its direct electric rivals on published figures. The BYD Atto 1, Australia's cheapest EV, costs between $200 and $527 per scheduled service and $1528 over five years, while the Mini Cooper E runs $1202 across four years of scheduled servicing.
That comparison is the quiet story here. Honda has effectively priced the Super-One's servicing as a weapon against the Atto 1, and the 40 per cent increase elsewhere in the range makes the EV's fixed rate look even sharper by contrast.

Warranty and the fine print
Honda's standard new-vehicle warranty runs five years with no kilometre limit, extendable to eight years provided the car is serviced at a Honda Service Centre. Every model in the range also carries five years of roadside assistance and five years of complimentary Honda Connect.
The extension-to-eight-years mechanic gives Honda a lever to keep owners returning to its own service network, which matters more as per-visit prices climb.

What Honda says
“Honda is committed to delivering innovative, high-quality and fun products at a fair price, all underpinned by an ownership experience that provides peace of mind,” the company said in a statement, describing the $279 rate as “locked in” for the first five services and confirming the Super-One's exclusion at $199.
The statement also pointed to the brand's sales momentum. Honda's Australian sales are up 1.5 per cent year to date.
